Choose one routine workflow

Start with a bounded job such as maintenance intake or a routine tenant reply. Do not begin with screening, a legal notice, a lease decision, or a money exception.

Name the property, the owner, the channel, and the result that counts as complete.

Set the policy and escalation owner

Define what the workflow may prepare, what requires your approval, who receives an urgent exception, and when the workflow must pause.

Review the authority map in the Policy Sandbox before enabling anything.

Connect only the rails you intend to use

Payments, messaging, calendar, screening, and syndication each have their own provider and account conditions. A logo or feed setting is not proof that a production connection is operating.

Verify the provider account, permission, delivery path, and failure contact for each connected rail.

Run a controlled test and inspect the record

Use a non-consequential scenario first. Confirm the source facts, applied policy, approval if needed, delivery state, and the handoff when the workflow cannot proceed.

Keep the resulting action record as the acceptance evidence for that workflow.

Expand only after the exception path works

Add the next property or action class after the team has seen the pause, escalation, and recovery path—not simply the happy path.

Review performance and exceptions regularly; revoke or narrow authority when the facts or policy change.
