You can set the limits Aptoria will work within, such as spending caps, in your workspace settings. Changing them requires two-factor sign-in, and no setting can loosen the hardcoded limits on the BLOCKED floor. Aptoria doesn’t carry out routine work on its own yet. Today you can set the limits it will work within, and its hardcoded limits are published. The limits you set now are the ones Aptoria will work within when those features are enabled.

Per-task spend limits

Under Settings → Agent → Per-task spend limits, each task category has its own limits: repairs, approvals, late fees, late-fee waivers, and rent collection each take a per-action cap with optional daily and monthly ceilings, and lease renewals take a maximum rent-increase percent. Leave a field blank for no limit of that kind, or turn a category off so every action in it will wait for your review.

Why changes need two-factor sign-in

Changing them requires two-factor sign-in, and no setting can loosen the hardcoded limits on the BLOCKED floor.
Only the workspace owner can change them.

What your limits will govern

Aptoria doesn’t carry out routine work on its own yet. Today you can set the limits it will work within, and its hardcoded limits are published.
When autonomous features are enabled, an action under a cap will be able to proceed, anything over it will wait for your approval, and daily and monthly ceilings will count actions still inside their cancellation window.

The BLOCKED floor — never automated

Some decisions always stay with a person, whatever your plan or limits: Aptoria never denies an applicant, files an eviction, ends a lease, or deducts from a security deposit on its own, and no setting can loosen that BLOCKED floor.

What happens when an action exceeds my spend limit?

When autonomous features are enabled, it will wait for your approval instead of running. Today nothing runs on its own, so nothing can exceed a limit yet.

Can I make Aptoria deny an applicant or file an eviction automatically?

No. Denying an applicant, filing an eviction, and ending a lease are on the BLOCKED floor, which no plan or setting can loosen. A person makes those decisions.

Why does changing a limit ask for two-factor sign-in?

Limits decide what Aptoria may do without asking you, so a second factor protects them from someone who has only your password.
