Getting the timing right

How much notice you owe before raising rent is set by your state, and sometimes your city, and it can depend on the size of the increase and how long the tenant has lived there. Check the effective date and notice period against the current local rule before you deliver anything.
If a tenant is on a fixed-term lease, a mid-term increase usually is not permitted, and the change waits for renewal.

What is planned

Drafting renewals with AI, and sending or serving notices from Aptoria, are planned. When renewal drafting is enabled, drafts will be bounded by the maximum rent-increase percent you set, and a person will approve every rent increase before it reaches a tenant.
