Vetting a vendor

Sending jobs to vendors from Aptoria is planned. Until then, vet vendors the way you always have: confirm the license for their trade where the property is, current liability insurance, and a written scope for larger jobs, and keep that proof on file.

Confirm the vendor is licensed for their trade where your property is, carries current liability insurance, and, for larger jobs, will work to a written scope. Keep copies of the license and insurance certificate, and note when the insurance expires.

Requirements vary by trade and location, so treat this as your own diligence rather than something Aptoria certifies.

When vendor dispatch is enabled, you will be able to mark vetted vendors as preferred and limit dispatch to them; any other vendor will need your approval. Per-task spend limits already include a preferred-vendors option for repairs, which will apply then.
